Such an underrated, affordable vst that actually does sound warm, fat and analog. I can only surmise that folks didn't go mad for it because it didn't have some superstar idiot endorsing it or a big ad campaign.yessongs wrote: Then there is the Xhun audio plugin called Little one which I think attempts to model a little fatty. http://www.xhun-audio.com/site/xhun.php?page=littleone

MiniMogueVA-TD (or MiniMogueLUXUS-TD for the more advanced version). There have been improvements in filter quality in newer versions and I don't believe there are any YouTube videos that showcase it.
Not 100% accurate emulation (I don't feel it needs to be), but it's the best free emulation by far.
However, the free/donationware Daedalus plugin is also a worthy contender for the Moog-like sound. I used it quite a bit before I discovered MiniMogueVA.

listening to the raw waveforms and how they are very similar, i just use model-e with tal chorusLX and it sounds great. diva has a more accurate filter but you pay for it in cpu cycles compared to model-e'slayzer wrote:i actually still like and use steinberg model-e

and imho, model-e can achieve that distinctive minimoog growl.
