i wanted to buy also but since i don't want to pay extra in the future i decided searching other options and concentrate more on music creation... at least for now

Can't speak for anyone else, but I never used to buy Waves - too expensive and they don't officially support Reaper (plus that stupid update plan). But then I just bought H-Reverb because it's truly unique, would do it again for the right plug. And if it works fine on your system then you don't really need updates, and if you ever do (and the first year's run out) I believe you can buy it later on-demand.

The Gold price is good, but there's a lot of quite old plugs in there. But a few newbies too like H-Comp/Delay. But then I already have some good alternatives, so it all depends what you already have.

Dang! I just threw some money away.

H-Reverb is not included in the Gold bundle.

I was thinking that many of the plugin are old but they are still usable. I hesitated at $199, $179, $169 $159 but when I saw $145 I pulled the trigger. Basically I bought it because at $145 I though it was a bargain.

I wanted to focus on music creation plugins but non came up that appealed to me.

I don't know about the other plugs, but the two I have (H-Reverb and RenBass) work just fine on Reaper 4 x64, I've been mixing with Hverb for a couple of weeks, no issues. They just officially don't support it, which is super-annoying but doesn't seem to matter (maybe more in the past?).

$145 is a great price for Gold. Plenty of good plugs in there. And you don't have to WUP if you don't want to. I paid $150 for mine and it's worth that to me. Hang in there, you're sure to find good things in there that serve you well.

I just jumped on this too... Will report back if there are any issues as I'm not familiar with the store.
