Need help with Omnisphere Orb. Cant work out if its useless or Im doing something wrong.

It doesn't sync when you record arm. Doesn't matter if you wait 1 second, 2 or 10, it records the orb AFTER you start moving it. Since I got Omnisphere a few years ago I never used the Orb for this very reason.
