Does anyone knows a VST that has a "freeze" effect?

The reaktor grain delay module does this with the push of a button (button not included). You can build a tool for this in a few minutes or less.

Great, this looks like I can do that with it. Seems generally great for experimental music. (what i mostly do)
Another one on my list. Thanks.
Btw. for me it's more "unfortunately". I've bought so many effects and bundles already... There are effects of the same type that I have in 8 different versions.
Same here. It's one of the main reasons I haven't bought it. If it was sold separately I would have probably bought it already...
Play it by ear

Dblue has a standalone of the freeze module from glitch that does a version of this effect. It doesn't have randomization of the grains or much overlap so it doesn't get super lush like some other granulizers. It's a cool effect though.

Same effect but very different sonic results :D
Looks also good. But I can't seem to find the GRM Freeze effect in their store.

Just called differently (Infinite), the principle is the same, i mean compared with a frieze in reverbs ofcourse.
Here it's even has some possibility of modulation\evolution (via Tap Slope, Spin, Echoes feedback section etc), ie not just static, what is quite interesting.
