I spend the last hours testing your recomendations.
Waldorf Attack: Installed, but no demo or demo mode, so I couldnt test it. Uninstalled.
Microtonic: Sounds interesting, not as interesting as my hardware, but it's the best until now.
Tattoo: No demo. Cannot evaluate.
Punch: Good sounds. However it seems a rompler with a filter. The parameters, in the most "presets" do not modify the timbre, only the filter or ADSR - Not pretty interesting and expensive.
I'm going to try Drumatic, ErsDrums, Bong, Heartbeat and Tremor now!

Judging by the video examples, kyodeejay wrote:Yes, in fact I own Drummax. But I don't like its sounds... it sounds too "normal"
I'm looking something more like this, notice how metallic is the sound:

If you're a little patient, I think there will be something you might like not too far away in time

Yeah, definitely Drumatic.
Shame your not using a Mac, Drumspillage probably is the closest, but Drumatic is very good as well.
Will Drumspillage ever be ported to Windows ?

I've seen request on the AudioSpillage sub forum for ages, but I doubt it will ever be ported to Windows. Which is a bit of a shame for all Windows users out there.

Don't do it!!! You're not going to find the same sound in software - not even close - weeks, months of testing vsti's will finally give way to disappointment and you'll end up back on ebay looking for your lost loves lol... If it's a financial decision maybe get a cheap hardware replacement like the korg volca drum machine.kyodeejay wrote:I already own both hardwares, but I'm planning selling them. That's why I'm looking for a replacement

Yes, Waldorf are a bit different. You can test Attack by getting the LE version. It is offered for free on a semi-regular basis, either direct, in a Magazine or on a Web Site/Blog. Just keep an eye out for it (it's usually posted on KVR).kyodeejay wrote:I spend the last hours testing your recomendations.

I miss MindPrint. My TRIO needs a big brother.
