I tentatively voted for comprehensive, just because I have a big sentimental attachment to the E-mu stuff and want it all to live on.

But the bigger a collection gets, the better the patch organization needs to be.

For god's sake just don't go the Best Service route- 8 GB of samples, 1300 patches, all of them- not kidding- simply named like "Bass sound 000, Bass sound 001, Bass sound 002..."
