On tracks:
Ableton stock compressor.
Ableton Glue compressor.
Multiband; Izotope Alloy 2 (I digress, but for use with it's other modules in context, such as the transient module)
Mastering:
Izotope Ozone 5 in context with other modules in chain.

I always do this on vocals, but probably not much else, maybe I should start. But vocals always get a chain of optos, or opto into an 1176, or opto into a fairchild or something.G-Sun wrote:Old studio secret: Use several compressors in seriese@rs wrote:It's the first time I see a triple post. No seriously... I actually use:
-DC8C 2 - my current go-to compressor
-Waves C1 - alt go-to
-Waves R Axx - use this as a mixing limiter
-Waves C4 - my current go-to multi-band compressor
-NI Solid Bus Comp - great character compressor, go-to for bus compression
Presswerk... I'm trying out for some time now, it's awesome and will probably be my new go-to for many things...
