Nice--especially the line you added!

FYI I've updated VirtualCZ to v1.0.1 fixing several issues and adding a new “Auto send SysEx” function.

VirtualCZ change log

15/10/14 - v1.0.1

- Quantise hz/ms/cents 0-99 conversions
- Stop re-triggering held notes on preset/certain parameter changes
- Fixed voice stealing when note-ons arrive in same block (i.e. chords)
- (SYSEX) Added "Auto Send SYSEX" option to TOOLS menu (send SYSEX on param change)
- (WIN) Store preset button no longer gets stuck
- (SYSEX) Fixed sending to CZ101/CZ1000/CZ3K/CZ5K
- (Manual) A couple of corrections
- OSC "set both shapes" button easier to click
- LCD message on SYSEX format/model selection
- Fixed inverted sustain pedal response
- Release notes on sustain pedal up rather than soft-kill them
- Sustain pedal works in monophonic mode
- Tuning table supports .tun files with no base frequency specified
- (WIN) Standalone app runs on XP
- (AAX) Fixed mouse wheel control jumpy-ness

plans for next point release include browsing by vstpreset metadata (e.g. instrument/author) rather than file location, MIDI learn, Polyphonic Unison, and CPU optimizations. Also hope i can make the non-VST2 versions load Sysex banks and convert directly to .vstpreset.

Thank you for all that huge work already done! And thank you again for the next work currently running! I wait especially for the result on the metadata (and the ability to use two or three free tags would be awesome!) and the MIDI learn...

VirtualCZ is on the way to become one of the best plugins of all these last years! And by this compatibility with the original Casio sysex banks it fills a huge gap which was present for many years! A great idea, and a splendid work!

I got the zip file full of original CZ Presets (converted by Oli Larkin) to work with VirtualCZ. The original presets for the CZ-101 in particular, really brought back some memories. Fantastic!!!

Like many people, I had a CZ-101 back in the day but lusted after the bigger and more expensive machines too.

So far, I'm really happy with this VSTi. It's great!!! :)

Stumbled upon this thread again

I really need to play with this synth some more. I bought it during a bout of GAS, got too many synths and now I haven't spent enough time with each to really be proficient at any of them. Argh.

looks like Casio are doing a tablet CZ!

Interesting but why no vst plugin?
The more I hang around at KVR the less music I make.

Let's pardon them... in Japanese "R" and "L" are a same sound which is neither the former nor the latter but a sound between both. To transcribe the Japanese kanas in latin letters, the system used is the Romaji. And in romaji this sound is transcribed by the latin letter "R". A consequence is that... you'll almost never see a letter "L" in transcribed Japanese words. And as these two latin letters "R" and "L" is only one sound in Japanese the confusion between our two letters is very common for them.
