OK, guys, that's that.
Back to bargain gossip.
What do you think about Waves' recent yet recurrent bottom-price bonanza?
I mean, Codex for $56, NLS for $56, Scheps 73 for $29, H-Delay for $25 ...

I got the 73 and delay for those prices, but I think I mainly got them because of the prices (didn't really need either one).Fleer wrote:OK, guys, that's that.

It's OK, though... I have Musicians II and a bunch of singles.
Some of the singles literally only cost me a few dollars by combining sale prices with a discount code at audioMIDI (RIP) a few years back.
I think my current WUP is more than the amount I have in the plug-ins.
So, I rationalize new purchases to get up to and over the WUP max.
Anyway, I have to say that all their sales get kind of annoying: monthly, second half of month, weekend, one-day, gift code, this latest video voucher, etc.
I may be able to consolidate up to some bundles at a good price if they do half-price upgrades again.
OK, just writing that made me even more burnt out on Waves.
I think it's mainly over exposure, though.

Where/when was Scheps 73 for $29? and Codex for $56?

If I get a good deal out of it, I don't care how the deal is encoded and who benefits. It's win/win as far as I'm concerned. Just get me the deal!ferez21 wrote:I have to agree here, i see nothing wrong with an Advertising Agent as long as the content is real and related to the thread.SalemBeatsKVR wrote: I post here on behalf of the resellers who can't be bothered to take the time to do what Uncle E does, and I see no harm in that - only mutual benefit.

Indeed... check your WUP, though.frankz00 wrote:Kramer Tape $29, ADT $40, Scheps for $29 and H-Delay for $24.
Great deals!
I'm still waiting for that J37!
At some point, you're probably going to have to pay more for those great deals.
I just checked mine and H-Delay finally put me at the $240 cap.
Who knows when we'll have to pay to update next (or you can just stay at 9.whatever).
If you've got a lot of singles like I do, I think you just need to have the WUP current on one product to bring it down from $300 to $240 (even cheaper from a dealer... don't know how much, though).
Even if it's down around $200, that's a chunk-of-change I'd rather spend on something else.
So, I think of it as a tax I'll probably have to pay down the road.
Anyways, I've got my sites set on the Dorroughs, but I'll have to wait until the next time they're priced like they are now (or less).
I guess we're coming up on their give-away time again, if they follow like the last two years.
If they do, I hope it's not something I already have.
(continued Waves ramble off)
