Hi,
I have made a lot of songs but I feel like it could sound much better.
I use a PC, cubase, m-audio fast track ultra, sony basic 40 dollars headphones and edirol ma-15d monitors.
Should I buy new better monitors and headphones, better sound interface or keep trying improving the mixing?
Here is my channel, please check it and give me some advices on how to improve my mixing.

Thanks!

The best thing I ever have done to improve my mixing skills is buying AKG K 701 headphones. I have Sennheiser HD280 pro ($100) headphones. The AKG 701 are amazing. I had them recommended buy Nathan Malone at SWEETWATER. http://www.sweetwater.com/store/detail/K701 (http://www.sweetwater.com/store/detail/K701) They are $350, but worth every penny. There Open so you don't get to hear the low end as much as closed headphones, but you can adjust and get used to it. Call for Nathan Malone if you can't afford them and he will find something perfect for you. You also get 30 days to return them so its a Win Win thang. Trust me It brings your mix from so so to Pro Pro. Good Luck- KVRAF

i listened to a few, your composition is good. but unfortunately, they all sound like midi files played through the Microsoft GM software synthesizer. some people enjoy that type of music. (very compressed and mechanical) but i prefer a more dynamic, ambient sound you get with real instruments and quality effects.

For the dynamic problem it comes from my keyboard. I replaced a broken key and after reassemble the parts I noticed a problem with velocity. (with all key). So I'll bring it to Yamaha so that they fix that.

Good, clean sounds. Easy on the ear, but they could use a little melodic variety.I understand it might be a conscious choice not to make the sounds more 'dynamic' or 'vibrant', and that's fine if that's what you're going for. Really liked 'Ambiento'
