Every time I type a name at the bottom of the mixer channel to say,for example, "Drums" then press the enter key, the mixer auto-jumps me to a different channel that has nothing to do with what I just did. I want it to stay still after I type in something there at the bottom of a mixer channel.
Anybody know how to stop that auto scrolling thing for this particular kind of channel entry?
tia!

It doesn't do that for me, just tested it. Easiest way to stop that is to not hit enter but rather simply click outside of that data entry field in that channel. It'll hold the text.
By some chance do you have the "Enter" key assigned as a keyboard command?

Thanks for responding. I'll try what you suggest and yes,the enter key has always been assigned as an affirmative command by default I believe.
