Syntone has released Metal Can Drums for Kontakt.
This library consists of a multitude of stick, knuckle, finger and palm hits on 4 different cans of varying size and shape. They were recorded with different strikes at various points on their head and body to create as varied a sound as possible. The whole package is joined together with custom graphics and scripting, including a custom-made arpeggiator that's built to give the user a number of options to vary their patterns and rhythms.
Metal Can Drums comes with the following specifications:
- 8 round robin, 7-8 velocity layers.
- 33 different types of hits from 4 different types of cans.
- Custom-scripting, including an arpeggiator.
- 48kHz/24-bit quality.
- 1.35GB (572MB compressed).
- Full version of Kontakt 4.2.4+ required.
