Black Rooster Audio has announced availability of its new GA-GT2 guitar preamp plug-in, for macOS and Windows in VST, AU and AAX plug-in formats, inspired by the classic Tech 21 SansAmp GT2 guitar preamp pedal.

The unit which inspired the GA-GT2 quickly became a favorite among guitarists of all genres, upon being introduced in 1989. It's been used by every guitar icon, from punk rockers to metalheads and country artists.
Due to its incredible versatility, it also became popular among bassists, and producers who use it to add warmth and saturation to drum and vocal tracks. The GA-GT2 sound is rooted in classic Tweet/British/Cali amps that will give you a very vintage vibe, but can easily be dialed up for more modern, overdriven tones.

- The Tone Maker - This versatile tool offers three distinct modes (Clean, Hi Gain, and Hot-Wired), each with its own unique tone and character.
- Authentic Analog Feel - The real-time SPICE-type component-based circuit simulation approach allows the GA-GT2 to authentically capture the sound and feel of its analog counterpart in all nuances. This includes the op-amp clipping stages that were designed to simulate tube distortion.
