Autodafe has released WaveNation for Kontakt.
WaveNation is designed to be an accurate reproduction of a well-known Japanese synthesizer of the 90s that used something called "Advanced Vector Synthesis", or Wave Sequencing.
Many of the original sounds have been sampled, note by note, with 3 velocity layers. In order to maintain the "evolving" nature of the sounds, no loops have been created, and some of the samples are up to 25 seconds in length. This results in a 24GB Library (16GB Zipped).
The samples use DFD (Direct From Disk) technology in Kontakt, so it requires only 1.2 GB of RAM to load the starting part of the samples.
