Adorable little synth...
I can't open this in Cakewalk, it doesn't appear to scan it properly. I see on the file explorer all the files in the installed folders including the .vst3 file are hidden as a 'protected operating system file'. Could that be the problem? Anything I can do to change that so that Cakewalk scans it properly? Thanks.
Sory for the hassle. It could be a wrong setting in the installer that sets the files to "Hidden" when installing Zenith. I'll have a look and will fix it.
Great! Thanks for coming back 👍.
So I downloaded v 1.0.4 and installed. I can see it ok in the VST3 folder now, nothing hidden. Cakewalk seems to be scanning it but then nothing appears in the plugin manager and no Zenith to choose from in instruments. Tried on Waveform and exactly the same.

I'd like to try it, but it crashes in all hosts/DAWs I tried:
I'm on Windows 7 with SP1 64-bit.
And have the VC++ Redist 2015-2022 installed.
Any idea what could be the reason that it doesn't work for me?
Edit:
Tried with version 1.0.1 as well as with newest version 1.0.3.
Could it have anything to do with GdiPlus?
Is Zenith using it?
Or GPU processing?
It uses GPU processing only for the graphics.
Thanks for the answer.
And GdiPlus, does the code somehow use GdiPlus?
Because I really wonder, why Zenith always crashes at the very startup in each host I tried.
So far I never saw it's GUI on my machine and I wonder if it could have something to do with GdiPlus.
Because this seems to be irreparable broken on my machine.
On the other hand, I'm not sure if any newer program/application uses it, because I do not have any problems with all other VST plugins nor with other applications in general.
