Complete your Mastering Chain
Before a track is complete and ready for commercial release, the mix has to go through the final stage of the mastering chain - the limiter. PeakLimit is a limiter that features 4 different limiter styles for maximizing the loudness of your track, along with an industry-standard metering display for visualising your audio and learning key information about the levels & dynamics of your track.
What can PeakLimit do?:
A Limiter for All Audio
PeakLimit's 4 different style settings make it a well-suited limiter for mastering any style of music...
Lucid Mode: Offers a transparent limiting style that doesn't colour the audio or affect the tonal balance of the signal in any way.
Warm Mode: Slightly emphasises the lower frequencies of the audio, providing a warmer, deeper and fuller sound.
Punch Mode: Emphasises the dynamics, creating a punchy sound. This mode works particularly well on single tracks.
Bright Mode: Colours the audio signal and adds brightness by emphasising the higher end of the signal's frequency spectrum.
PeakLimit also incudes Hard, Soft and Transparent transient modes which determine how the plugin handles transients. The lookahead and sensitivity controls then allow you to fine-tune the limiting that your source material requires, so you can ensure your track is getting the required limiting for achieving the highest sound quality.
PeakLimit can also be deployed on busses & groups of instruments, as well as drums, bass, guitar and synth parts for taming peaks, enhancing transients and adding colour to your sound.
Straightforward Metering
PeakLimit's real-time metering displays the exact gain reduction that is applied to your audio. It also displays the RMS signal level for the left and right channels and the output signal waveform, so you can fully visualise your track's loudness and peak levels.
The in-built LUFS, RMS and Peak levels also provide real-time readings of your track's loudness and levels. Here, you can optimise your track's loudness for streaming platforms, and make sure that your audio doesn't clip, resulting in the best possible listening experience.
