Superbooth 2023Arturia announces MicroFreak Stellar Limited Edition and MicroFreak Firmware V5

Arturia has announced the release of MicroFreak Stellar Limited Edition, sporting a sleek all-black exterior and unique design.

Announced alongside MicroFreak Stellar is another free firmware update for all MicroFreak users. Since its release in 2019, MicroFreak has undergone transformation after transformation; new engines, a built-in vocoder mode, a collaboration with Noise Engineering, and more. The V5 firmware introduces features such user sample importing, a sample playback engine, 3 new granular engines.

Features include:

  • User sample importing.
  • New Sample, Scan Grains, Hit Grains, and Cloud Grains engines.
  • Snappier Envelope attack times.
  • Keyboard Random Source.
  • Fresh presets.

The Microfreak Stellar Limited Edition is available from Arturia for €349.

The MicroFreak V5 Firmware will be available to download 30 May, 2023.
