UAD Tube-Tech EQ Collection

For over 30 years, Tube-Tech have been crafting immaculate, ultra-boutique tube hardware. Their PE 1C and ME 1B EQs are the Danish company's modern day take on two iconic Pultec EQ designs.

Developed by Softube, the Tube-Tech EQ Plug-In Collection features state of the art emulations of these modern masterpieces, endorsed by Tube-Tech, for UAD-2 hardware and Apollo interfaces:

• Track and mix with exacting emulations of Tube-Tech's ultra high-end hardware EQs, the PE 1C and ME 1B.
• Shape instruments or an entire mix with an exacting emulation of the PE 1C Program Equalizer.
• Sculpt midrange frequencies on guitars, drums, and other sources with the ME 1B Mid Equalizer.
• Use the PE 1C and ME 1B together to intuitively craft your mixes.

A Tube-Tech Tribute

The PE 1C and ME 1B EQs are Tube-Tech's homage to a pair of iconic Pultec EQ designs — the the EQP-1A Program EQ and the MEQ-5 Mid-Range EQ. The Tube-Tech EQ Plug-In Collection emulates every aspect of Tube-Tech's passive, tube-driven circuits. Akin to new Pultecs, rather than the aged vintage versions the UAD Pultec Passive EQ Collection is based on, the Tube-Tech EQ Plug-In Collection excels on any sound source where smooth, natural equalization is needed.

The PE 1C Program Equalizer

Able to seemingly boost and cut the same frequencies simultaneously, the PE 1C plug-in can bring body and bloom to acoustic guitars, and liven up a snare while also adding beef. With its wide, smooth curves, the PE 1C plug-in is also excellent for voice overs, or even the mix bus.

The ME 1B Mid Equalizer

A clear and vibrant mix is often dependent on the midrange frequencies. The ME 1B plug-in deftly sculpts the all-important mids, allowing you to tease excitement out of an electric guitar, carve out clarity on a drum bus, add thwack to a snare track, or bring some girth to a saxophone.
