LiveCut is a "Live BreakBeat Cutting tool" based on Nick Collins algorithms that can be found in the BBCut library for SuperCollider [View PDF].

"The BBCut Library began out of work on an algorithm to simulate the automatic cutting of breakbeats in the style of early jungle or drum and bass [Collins 2001a]."

LiveCut syncs to the host tempos and creates phrases by splicing and repeating small chunks of the input in order to create ever evolving syncopated rhythms. It currently implements a mix of CutProc11 (classic gimical DnB) and WarpCut (named after the Warp Label).

Hello:) Can some one tell me how to instal LiveCut onto Ableton Live 9.5? I dragged the LiveCut.vst into my VST folder and LiveCut.component into the component folder and scanned for VST's and I don't see it popping up in Ableton. I also don't have any idea what Im doing: (thanks.

I love this effect so much, I was terribly disappointed when I updated Ableton to the 64-bit version and found it's not compatible! #sad.

Me too! I just opened an old project and this plug in was all over it, and now I'm also #sad that it won't work in Ableton. Have you found any good substitutions?

There is a Vst3 version that works in 64-bit DAWs on Windows

J'ai besoin d'aide, Quelqu'un peut-il me dire comment installer LiveCut sur Logic XI a traîné le LiveCut.vst dans mon dossier VST et LiveCut.component dans le dossier des composants et analysé pour VST et je ne le vois pas surgir dans Logic X.
