Kamioooka is a polyphonic Full-Modular synthesizer with patch cable system. You can freely combine modules and make patches. 10 module slots and 7 types of modules (VCO/VCF/VCA/ADSR/LFO/MISC/SEQ) are available.

Available modules:

  • VCO : Oscillator, with PWM/FM/Sync functions.
  • VCF : HPF/BPF/LPF filter.
  • VCA : Amplifier with modulation input.
  • ADSR : Two ADSR Envelope Generator.
  • LFO : Two LFO with tempo sync mode.
  • MISC : Ring modulator/Noise Generator/Sample&Hold/Inverter.
  • SEQ : 8 Step Mini sequencer.

ATTENTION
In v1.0.2, the Unique-ID of the 64-bit version is changed for 32/64 patch compatibility. Old patch (.fxp/.fxb) made with 1.0.0/1.0.1(64-bit) may not be loadable (If you want to use anyway, VSTHost/SAVIHost can load forcibly and can be convert to new ID by exporting).

Versatile & powerful. You can get a lot of different sounds out of this. I used it for the bass and the lead synth in this track:

Great Modular synthesizer. THANK YOU

How do you save presets? I try to use it inside a maschine, works fine but I am unable to save a tweaked sound.

thanks

I am looking at the UI and I am thinking - a killer plugin would be a modular effect rack that can be transformed into say flangers, particlizers and more.

I can see I'm massively late to this but having wasted an afternoon trying to find a way to acquire VOID, and messing around in Reaktor (with mixed results) this is the closest to what I'm after I'm going to get. I would love to see development of this resumed to incorporate more slots, half size units and maybe distortion effects. I would happily pay! But even as it is, it's an amazing plugin. And x64 too!! Fantastic work guys :)

VOID yes I've bought many years ago. Unfortunately they quit to support it. No option to buy. Win XP only. Kamiooka reminds me as well to VOID synth, which comes from Japan too...may be there are some same programmers in the background. There is Moog's Modular synth V2 made by Arthuria if I'm not wrong as well. I don't know if registering the old CD of VOID to their web page, do actually install the soft synth as promised. Software audio & music apps aren't supposed to last much for ethernity purpose, like when you buy Stradivari violin or Fender Precision Bass...Neumann or Sehnheiser microphone, etc etc which means a permanent value and investment. Plus Music_computer_consumer_market represent a small percentage of the entire tech.computer production. That's why cos' the costs, they appear using components that are at the end of their market inqueries and offers/ (you'll find USB3 in audio devices pretty rare ..). And the times goes even faster. Atari software as an emulator in a contemporary PC = just for fun or educ.purpose, got cost but a fortune decades ago. Enjoy creating music!.
