OK. Try to think how much a plugin would have to cost if you needed to pay for the following activities: plugin development (1 or more months of work), sound designer, programmer, video maker, marketing specialist, paid advertising, graphic designer, UI designer and more.
How many copies would you need to sell?
And now keep in mind that you are in an online market where crackers do not value the work of developers and destroy the music market.
We are curious about your answer.

Alright, my answer is this:Eplex7 DSP wrote: ↑Mon Apr 15, 2024 11:35 amOK. I don't have to.
I am your potential customer. I should never be aware of your costs internally.
If you are unwilling to invest in the production of your plugin, why would I?
All I care about, as a customer, is that you've done your best and have showed me something that would blow my mind, and I must have right now. Blaming the sailors won't get you anywhere.
Not investing in the positions you've outlined can maximally yield a middle-of-the-road product, as proven by the current AI outputs you've presented.
I'd like to think that everyone strives for excellence in their field and with their craft. Why won't you?
This is a freebie, but I'm available for consulting should you need further help.

^^^ well said! And I’m with you 100%, as the “potential customer” I would also like to know that you put everything into a plugin to wow me over the competition. That goes for all aspects, ie, functionality, ease of use, does it save time, what it actually does, and yes, even a pleasing GUI.cdbaksu wrote: ↑Mon Apr 15, 2024 1:50 pmAlright, my answer is this:Eplex7 DSP wrote: ↑Mon Apr 15, 2024 11:35 amOK. With that said, this plugin looks hideous and rushed.

We invest most of our energy and time to sound / algorithms - because they are most important, no?
GUI is maybe not best in the world but good by many users, we prefer to invest into sound, new dsp methods / research etc.
Do your listeners look at gui of your plug-ins or only sound is important for them?
Btw. define what is wrong with GUI itself? It is made by designer with 17 years of experiences, it is artistic experimental and abstract but what is wrong about that? (do you have some Art / Design education too?) (remember also artists like Van Gogh were criticized and died poor, now their artworks are sold for millions, 100different people 100diferent views).
