Would it be possible to sample a guitar background pickup noise, then to put it back as an inverted audio cancellation signal filter ? Using Melda plugins ? As a test, to see what happens.
The hardware set up, if it matters, is :
Takamine acoustic -> L.R. Baggs M1 pickup -> MPA tube preamp -> VLA tube compressor -> DAW
The rackmount tube hardware is at just about a minimal. Barely any compression, no gain on the preamp.
EDIT : Meanwhile I found Chandler's video "Get rid of guitar noise and hum easily with MSpectraldynamics". MSpectralDynamics' stock device Denoiser, default setting, works very well.
[SOLVED] Guitar pickup noise removal / reducing with Melda plugins ?
