@Urs
Is there any way you could add a tool that injects white noise into a Curve ?

I tried vectoring samples of white noise, and it just looks like a hot mess and sounds nothing like white noise.
Curves excel at "manageable" shapes, and that's where they play out their strengths. They are not so suited for randomness and stuff.

Modulating the depth of the Scrambler Osc FX with, eg, an MSEG, envelope, or LFO can get something that's not far off white noise.

Thanks hakey.
Was kinda wanting to do a glitch type thing. Regular shape curves interspersed with white noise curves. The scrambler affects the whole signal. Useful to know it can do something close to white noise.
Just thinking aside , it'd be kinda cool to have a circuit bent type osc fx for some glitchy weird sounds..

You can modulate the parameters of the OscFX. For example, doing that with Map-O-Matic can make some widely changing sounds.

Yeah I've been through the OscFX. Im thinking more of a sample rate reducer / noise / bit crusher / fuzz type of thing. You can get some interesting stuff happening modulating parameters with the S&H LFO at audio rate, but it never really sounds like a circuit bent synth.
More experimentation is required:)

I've often wished there was a way to have a super-saw type sound with a consistent attack without resetting the phase for all voices to the same beginning point. When you have several detuned voices with phase reset turned on you get that "laser zap" sound, but if you turn off phase reset every note has a completely different sounding attack. It would be so cool if there was a way to reset the phase but to a different point for each voice, like for example if there was a knob that would progressively stagger the start phase for each voice (sort of like this), or perhaps a limited set of fixed random seeds. Or maybe a millisecond slider the would start the phase as if the note had already been held for x milliseconds (but then different pitches would start at different phases so maybe scale it somehow so it's consistent over the entire keyboard). Those are just some ideas anyhow...
I realize you can get the same effect by using a sampler but the sort of defeats the whole fun of using a synth. Is there any chance something like this is planned for Zebralette or Z3?
