Hi,
when i insert a Bass Generator into the composition, the rhythm pattern of this phrase seems to be always 1 bar long, even if the phrase itself has, say, a 4 bars length.
when i change the rhythm pattern length in the phrase inspector the rhythm pattern seems to be scaled to fit the phrase length, will be slower so to say.
what is the easiest way to input phrases with rhythm patterns fitting to the phrase patterns?

This is a good question. I try to explain.
The rhythm pattern length is 1 bar by default (a setting could be added for this if needed) because I realized some users prefer using long (>16/4) phrases without any repetition, and musically this does not sound good.
But you can change the rhythm length if you don't want a repeated pattern.
Change the rhythm length to 'Same as phrase length':
Then you can increase the number of notes to insert into the pattern:
Finally, press 'Apply to selection'.
