Just released on patchpool: Liquid Motion for Infiltrator 2

Liquid Motion for Infiltrator 2, the multi-effect processor by Devious Machines contains 104 presets spanning a wide range of patches for processing musical instruments, drums and percussion, vocals, soundscapes and field recordings. From atmospheric textures to intricate rhythmical setups - also in unusual time signatures - haunting spaces and reverbs to complex filter combinations, grooving gate sequences to otherworldly ambiences and glitchy noises, the presets from Liquid Motion will turn every input signal into something interesting and sonically exciting. Some patches focussing more on conventional audio processing are also included like dynamic EQs, saturation/compression, gated reverbs, delay chains and stereo enhancement.

All presets make extensive use of the available modulators and have the four Macros assigned for direct interaction and DAW automation, quite a few patches use the internal sequencer for triggering the individual effect modules, most presets are programmed 100% wet for inserting Infiltrator on a bus.

All demos make use of effect sounds created only with patches from Liquid Motion, no further post-processing was applied apart from a limiter on the master outputs, all demos start dry without effects.

The more I use and experiment with Infiltrator 2, the more I find it works really well for light processing duties as well as full-on sample or loop mangling. Incredibly versatile and powerful!! Buying a Patchpool expansion pack for one of my favorite plug-ins was a no-brainer. I'm really curious to see what kind of patches you've created for it. I've always appreciated your programming chops, whether it's aimed towards the melodic or experimental end of the spectrum. And it helps me to develop my own signature style from a different perspective. Looking forward to the pack Simon!!

Thank you, I agree that Infiltrator is a very good all-rounder for all sorts of duties, it can do those woaaa-patches and all sorts of rhythmical glitch mayhem, melodic sequences and bombastic atmospheres but it's also capable of the more subtle and delicate sound worlds. I only wish one could modulate the modulators with each other and the modulation concept would be less hard wired but hey, there is hope for a version 3 then

Also, the Devious Machines team encourages user input and they’ve been very welcoming anytime that I’ve suggested new features or simple tweaks that I think would be useful.

By the way, thank you for posting demos of your expansions. It’s very useful to hear how the patches sound in a musical or sound design context. And I like how you drop tasty little breadcrumbs leading up to a new Patchpool release. I’m excited to see what’s in store for the year ahead. So Happy New Year Simon!!

I just worked on a groove demo for the last two hours, after a day of programming and finalizing patches it's so important to get some music rolling with the resulting presets, that's what they're made for. But often I start a music or sound design project and then bring in Infiltrator so the patches evolve while producing music and sound.

I only joined the Infiltrator party a few months ago so I'm very late to the party but the party is good!
