I was just wondering if there is any technique in MuLab by which I can setup a non SC plug (eg, Airwindows compressor) and be able to trigger the compressor with an eq'd version of the signal (like how you would do with an SSL desk and the input button from the EQ section).
I know it's probably a lost cause, but on the hopes that one of the MuTools geniuses might know some hackery magic I thought I'd ask.

There's an "Audio to Modulation" converter that might get you moving in the right direction. Or the audio envelope follower
