I did read the vst3 warning readme, and in testing, only the vst3s crash, tried 5 of them, the vsts load/work fine
When the smoke clears this is what is in the terminal:
setNumInputs ( 8 );
setNumOutputs ( 8 );
allocateArrangement ( &plugInput, 8 );
allocateArrangement ( &plugOutput, 8 );
setNumInputs ( 8 );
setNumOutputs ( 8 );
allocateArrangement ( &plugInput, 8 );
allocateArrangement ( &plugOutput, 8 );
setNumInputs ( 8 );
setNumOutputs ( 8 );
allocateArrangement ( &plugInput, 8 );
allocateArrangement ( &plugOutput, 8 );
setNumInputs ( 8 );
setNumOutputs ( 8 );
allocateArrangement ( &plugInput, 8 );
allocateArrangement ( &plugOutput, 8 );
Segmentation fault
edit: in reaper, the channel re-assignments don't seem to take hold, and thus the 2/8 in+out label on the button above the Uhbik doesn't get relabeled when attempting to change the routing.
Linux people have reported issues with other daws being perhaps confused with
processing the multi-channel options, and implementing the 'packaged' vst install.
setup, likely not knowing it's disabled. I kinda doubt they read the readme, but I'll suggest that way over yonder.
Cheers

Please simply avoid using the VST3 version. After all, there is a reason why the warning exists in the installer.
