Henning played a "John Browne" preset in his video, but I don't see that one?Blue Cat Audio wrote: ↑Wed Sep 13, 2023 9:45 am The first reviews of Axiom V2 are in, check them out!

One more sound I'm chasing is a 60's Fender Brownface sound, with that gorgeous poweramp-modulated bias tremolo. Much like this amp and/or pedal:

This video highlights the bias tremolo effect and how well this pedal nails it too.

It seems like the some of the Tweed amps in Axiom get close, but if you guys have any suggestions of other presets/starting points, that would be great.
Is there any way to get a bias tremolo sound from the built-in effects or somehow from Polyvibe added into the chain?

Hello,
very excited about Axiom V2! However, I have a problem with it currently: I am using the same setup in the Audio/MIDI preferences as I did with Axiom V1, and V2 is detecting my audio input just like it should (I can see it reacting to the input in the standalone app), but I have no audio output from Axiom - I used to have no problem playing back the audio through the regular PC output. I have tried various combinations of output settings, but I have not found a solution yet. I'm on Windows 11.
Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

Yeah it is actually a preset that we did with John some time ago. You can download it from here:

It's a good one! Am I seeing things right that the IR looks slightly different than the Satan Chug IR?Blue Cat Audio wrote: ↑Fri Sep 15, 2023 10:30 amYeah it is actually a preset that we did with John some time ago. You can download it from here:

I guess the IR has just been modified using the Post filter controls (I don't think it had been change din any other way). Did you know that you could alter IRs quite a bit with Axiom/Destructor, including frequency shifting?

You may want to go thru the Hi Gain tones, and search for "Chug" in the preset browser too . Usually the presets with (IR) in the title will work best for that.

Gotcha, I see that now. Definitely has some low end trimmed out and maybe a bit more upper mids emphasized.Blue Cat Audio wrote: ↑Mon Sep 18, 2023 6:36 amI guess the IR has just been modified using the Post filter controls (I don't think it had been change din any other way). I think I may have found out about that feature by accident a while back when I didn’t realize for some time that I had a post filter cabinet loaded on top of an IR and was wondering why it sounded weird.
It’s a powerful tool, so reading the manual is a must!

Have you noticed the evolution of Axiom since its initial release as Axiom V1 in 2018? It's been through quite a journey!

Indeed! As long as you stay in the presets territory that's pretty easy, but you may want to dive into the manuals (both for Axiom and Destructor... And Late Replies, and the built-in fx!) when going deeper into editing!
