Tal-Sampler feature request.

The Browser functionality in tal-sampler is almost there. It would great to be able to select more than one sample ( Shift+click) when dragging samples into the mapping editor.
This would also complete drag n drop functionality within any host.

what result would you wish for, what default behaviour, once the multiple samples are dropped into the mapping editor? As in, how would Sampler assume you'd like the samples distributed on the keyboard?

The ability to do this and it's default behaviour are already there but require a plug-in host like carla (linux) to do it.

The preset/sample browser in tal-sampler 4 allows for 1 sample for drag n drop hence the reason for the feature request.

ahah, makes sense! Sorry, my question wasn't very clear, I got confused because the functionality already existed and thought you wanted it to behave a different way once the samples were dropped. No worries, I will have a chat with Patrick about it, seems like a useful feature to have for sure.

I have confirmation from Patrick that this is on the TODO list for both Sampler and Drum, no ETA at this point but it will happen. Cheers for the bump
