Make sound in serpent less "harch"

I like the presets in serpents but I find many of them a bit "harsch" on my ears, is there a easy way to make this go away? EQ? Less distortion? A distorted guitarr is always a bit harsch but it should be possible to reduce this. Sorry if the question seem a bit simple.

Try reducing the gain knobs and settings in the amp effects in Console, you can also dial down the guitar's volume knob to reduce some excess overdrive.

I maybe missing, can I change settings in console when I use a preset? I dont see the settings?

Yes you can. First you need to select an effect slot in order to see its parameters.

Thanx, its a bit confusing, I try to read the manual but its very short, it seems incomplete.
