Shreddage Precision Bass slapping

So I just got Shreddage Precision, and it's a hell of an instrument. The only thing I'm having a hard time with is making a convincing slap bass riff. More specifically, I can get the pops and slaps ok, but what I can't reproduce well are the dead note loud slap and pops that normally come with the slapping territory. Anyone good at making realistic slap lines care to weigh in?
