i’m doing up an old kenton control freak se
i want to replace the faders - 16 of them
i just replaced 2 non working ones with cheap faders
they’re ok but only ok
the case is a very resonant steel box
i know that damping it will improve the feel of the faders
sorbothane is too expensive
perforated aluminium sheet is cheap and plentiful
i would like recommendations for damping materials
and faders please

My controller has 75mm 1K slide potentiometers in it. I couldn't find any 1k's so used 10k sliders. You might be better off buying two new fader boards off Kenton website.
