excuse me please wrote: Wed Mar 10, 2021 7:30 am Well, after my iLok disaster I bought old Roland and Yamaha hardware. Just realized how silly my 'living in the past' answer was

Planned to buy a Korg Wavestate, but there will a 61 key SE edition later on. So I decided to go for the Yamaha MODX7.
I only own one hardware synth nowadays (Roland D-05), but I used to have a Yamaha DX7, a Oberheim OB12, a Novation A-Station, a Yamaha CSR6, a Waldorf MicroQ, a Redsound Darkstar and an E-mu Xtreme Lead. A bit sad I don't have any of them left, but I when I moved 12 years ago I couldn't fit them in my new flat :(

The MODX7 seems really nice for the price.
i9-10900K | 128GB DDR4 | RTX 3090 | Arturia AudioFuse/KeyLab mkII/SparkLE | PreSonus ATOM/ATOM SQ | Studio One | Reason | Bitwig Studio | Reaper | Renoise | FL Studio | ~900 VSTs | 300+ REs

it's my understanding this is the most awesome instrument ever made (so i have been told), so i'm not sure why you would sell it anyway.

Great stuff. I have dld the MODX manual, I'll try to figure out how it works in the weekend. Oh well, my interface is broken and I don't have speakers atm. But I will be happy like a child when I actually can produce. So I see it as something to look forward for :)

Gear is usually a very subjective thing so calling it the most awesome instrument ever made is a bit much imo.
