Emotional Violin re-triggers samples

I recently purchased the Native Instruments S88 keyboard and it appeared to function perfectly with existing libraries (VSL, East West etc.) Then I purchased Emotional Violin from Best Service and noticed that (intermittently) samples are retriggering (repeating). Sometimes it could be after a very short period of time and others after holding a note longer. After a bit of investigation, I have concluded that the cause is the 'after-touch' feature of the keyboard. (I loaded the violin into standalone KONTAKT and used the KONTAK keyboard and the repetition did not occur.)

I am assume that I have been pressing the keys with various degrees of pressure and the keyboard is sending additional midi signals that Emotional Violin can't interpret and it's only choice is to re-trigger the same sample.

This is not re-bowing from what I can tell.

I am wondering if anyone else has seen this behaviour and has been able to correct or explain it.

Note: You cannot turn off the aftertouch at the keyboard.
