Had to stop practising, I was suffering from A minor pentatonic mouth twitch.
Face pulling, that's being in the zone, and there's the twitch. It's like a piece of cotton attached to my bottom lip and my picking hand. It's like my hands are trying to outrun my brain, the result, the twitch.
I found the cure, practising slowly, pentatonic scale at least.
I've never seen Joe pass, Satch or Paul Gilbert twitching, but I have seen many others. I think it's also trying too hard and reaching one's limitations.
