But I don't know what their current plans are concerning those features. Obviously they removed the texts from their website (maybe because things went slower than customers expected). Maybe they consider the Ableton Link integration as the network sync feature already done (?). Would be really cool to hear something about that topic from Bitwig officially!
Still has this on the site (under support/questions) but not very helpful in terms of an explanation...

When will the collaboration features become available?

Collaboration features are planned for future versions of Bitwig Studio. Network support is already built into the core of the software and the Bitwig Studio project file format is designed bearing collaboration features in mind. So collaboration is part of the DNA of Bitwig Studio. We are dedicated to further develop our own collaboration technology.
X32 Desk, i9 PC, S49MK2, Studio One, BWS, Live 12. PUSH 3 SA, Osmose, Summit, Pro 3, Prophet8, Syntakt, Digitone, Drumlogue, OP1-F, Eurorack, TD27 Drums, Nord Drum3P, Guitars, Basses, Amps and of course lots of pedals!

Also:

1- a truly new official platform for Grid devices resources & patches exchange. Instead of very few tutorials.
the Grid features & techniques still unknown by many users.(not any one could understand it unless some one is living in the modular concept).
So why not promoting for it’s feature more widely this encourage users specially new ones by using it & could retrieve more open community
environment. Bypassing the patching fear & math dislikers hence more understandable theories behind the modular system & what it can do.
So I guess BW should initiate this.

2- Grid devices 3rd party developments.

3- Gigantic official BW tutorials.
no matter how easy the software is it,
there should be a bunch of resources.
FL studio for example is built as easy DAW but they have many resources although it’s not audio engineering based.

Would be rather ambitious but pretty cool: in-program tutorials. So product specialists and users could share their knowledge right inside the software. Recording voice messages and recording step by step actions. Or maybe even interactive tutorials where other users can follow along and do the steps themselves. This voice-message + recording activity could also be useful for explaining stuff to collaborators. Or maybe one could show off the capabilites of a Grid patch right in-place (pre-recorded audio, note, automation input + talking to it). Just dreaming ;)

Every DAW needs a devotee/trainer like Kenny Gioia for Reaper. Seriously, easily the best tutorials for any DAW I've seen, because it's almost always a solution to a question, "How do I set up multi instruments" etc.

I think so far the videos I see for Bitwig suffer from the "content creator" or "influencer" mindset. Looking on how to use multi instruments in Bitwig I found one, but some of the video is the narrator explaining that personally he doesn't use multi outs from Kontact etc. <- Nobody really cares about that, it's not important, and anyone searching for a video on multi outs specifically doesn't care that our "content creator" doesn't use multi outs.

Hi, anyone interested in collaborating (pun intended) on a spec for git-like collaboration? Or just voting for such feature?

https://bitwish.top/t/network-collaboration/47
I see this as git but applied to music production, where the projects and their resources can be shared and synced, but also forked, and “patches” can be proposed, accepted or rejected. This git approach would also allow for peer-to-peer or mesh collaboration without needing a central server.

A few weeks later and without much collaboration... here is a feature request for asynchronous collaboration that anyone can vote, discuss, and improve:
