yes...this is right up my alley. Love the underlying pad sound and progression...carries it along nicely. Bass is probably too loud when it kicks in at 7 mins. im not listening on studio monitors though so take that with a pinch of salt. nice one.

I still arc up a bit every time I see this sort of downtempo Dance presented under the Ambient banner. But I guess that is a battle that was lost in the early 90s when House & Techno ate everything.

Sadly because of the dance mindset, I find the whole track very "pinned down" instead of floating & uplifting. There are some nice things in here but that hi-hat and the loop thinking combined with no leads has it really trapped. I also second that the bass is far too loud & pummeling.

A new mix might really change the feel and outcomes of this piece. If I haven't offended you with honesty, I would be willing to take this for my Mix Walkthrough series on YouTube.
