Really? But they emulate the Juno's, right? The 106, 60 and 6 each had 6 voices according to Wiki.
4 voices is very little, one can easily run out of voices when playing pad chords with long release.

Anyway, why that limit? Those synths are not analog inside, right? So the price for additional components can't be the problem, one might think.

For me that 4-voice limit is enough of a reason not to buy it.
Yamaha's Reface CS - a similar league - has 8 voices.

All the analog-modeled Boutiques have a 4-voice limit. The plugins from Roland Cloud are 8-voice I believe.

Yeah it's dumb but they still sell like hotcakes so there's probably little incentive for Roland to upgrade the Boutique hardware.

I was not talking about "the new boutique", I was speaking about the Ju06a.
The Ju06 was itself only an emulation, so why would I refer to it as original?!
