Quanta is very powerful, yes.

For the record, those who have Mulab or MUX already have a granular synth.

It is built-in.
In the VST edition of MUX modular as well as in Mulab itself.

For your information not everyone make edm. For ambient stuff e. g granular synths are great tools for something like soundscapes and drone sounds.

It's also great for general sound design, you can wrangle out sounds not possible with other sound creation methods

i took a granular synth... thread... there are others... in the meantime new type of granulars have come out, which got their attention here...

but this one isn't mentioned yet; it is an instrument, but it works within Voltage Modular (the Nucleus edition is free, so you can use that to work with the instrument that also can be an effect);
