I have a lot of hardware synths and effects. Some of it is 40 years old. Nothing has broken except for a 90s Behringer mixer which just stopped working one day. Ive tried to go "in the box" a couple of times, but I always miss the sound of the old analog synths ...

I still have some stuff lying around from past decades and playing with the idea of hooking stuff back up. I even extended my Scarlet 18i with an OctaPre to have enough inputs and outputs to get some of that stuff into my DAW (my Kawai Rev4 can eat up a whole OctaPre ins and outs on its own). Somehow I just cant get myself to get all those cables from storage. As Scott Solida used to say: I hate cables
