I have a 2015 mac pro, 64gig mem, 6 core, 1 TB SSD. Two Thunderbay (mac-sales) RAIDs. Running a number of U-HE, and some UVI libraries can bog this down (run 60 - 100 tracks. The 2019 Mac Pro looks incredibly expensive.. I am contemplating upgrading 2015 mac pro to 12 cores and doubling the memory (from owc-macsales). But going to wait till the dust settles.

The problem is as new powerful computers come out. Virtual instrument developers create products that use more CPU. It's a never ending juggling contest..

I know it's ''beneath you'' but someone's got to do those dirty jobs, in order to keep your fantasy world sanitized.
