I know 200$ is expensive, but kush already has some plugins that cost close to that price (EQs, comps) , and some already cost that much (EQ) . You have to take into account that this must have been some sort of collab between kush and relab. When you take that into account, the price is actually OK. Not stellar, but OK.

Let's wait until we get to demo it.

let's hope the intro price is closer to $99 :P

with waves abbey road plate selling at $29 (regular discount) and uvi plate at $69 (intro)
a $200 intro price point is at a minimum detached from reality.

Kush don't really have any intro price, do they ? I've just found back the first Novatron-related email I've received, and no intro price was mentioned, simply a unique price...
Please don’t read the above post. It’s a stupid one. Simply pass.

Right. $200 without even offering an intro price.
For a plate plugin. While stellar competitors are offered
at 7 times less (waves) to 3 times less (uvi), and while
soundtoys little plate was free during the introduction period.

Seems to me that whoever did their pricing analysis and policy,
needs to start preparing resumes for their next job.

You don't have to buy it. If it's too expensive for you - move on! Should be obvious, but is it?

Yes captain obvious, i know that i do not have to buy it.

As for moving on, i am enjoying the discussion. Feel free to stick around,
(or not) yourself.

It's pointless to bitch about prices here, because they don't read this forum, and even if they did, they'd never take bitching 'input' in setting their prices one way or the other. Those guys are not like that.

But you already know that, so what's the point of the exercise?

Timing does seem off in that sense. My plate's full at the moment, pun intended.

They have pretty regular sales so it will be available cheaper just not on release
Amazon: why not use an alternative

There was some interesting details revealed on the other forum (about the collab), worth checking out :D

How do you know what the developer reads, what inluence them, and what is pointless? Don't pretend wiser than you are.
In these days no succesful manufacturer can ignore the social media, at least not the major user Forums (what the Kvr is, in its genre).

speaking of intro period discounts as an almost industry standard,
the just announced liquidsonics new reverb
comes with an up to 60% discount (intro discount + loyalty discount for those
having other products from the same developer). Just saying...
