PRECEDENCE SUMMARY
////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////

Precedence is a unified field theory of direct sound spatialization and positioning. It produces a self-modulating stereo-image that creates an instantaneous sense of width and presence similar to stereo microphone techniques used in live acoustic spaces. Precedence then uses psycho-acoustic principals to position this image within a virtual stage giving ultra precise left-to-right, and front-to-back distance localization, which together with 2CAudio reverbs, creates an incredible sense of hyper-realistic 3D space and specific positioning within this space.

SPECIAL FEATURES IN PRECEDENCE & BREEZE 2.1
////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////

• P-LINK
Precedence and Breeze 2.1 are designed to work together synergistically to achieve maximum realism with regard to distance placement. Breeze 2.1 can follow Precedence on track inserts and synchronize some of its internal parameters to position information from Precedence, thus creating a novel unified approach to spatialization that is extremely convincing. Breeze 2 effectively defines the spatial environment, and Precedence can place the source sound anywhere within it.

• SUB-ZERO SUSPEND-ON-SLIENCE
Beginning with Precedence and Breeze 2.1, 2CAudio has introduced an intelligent Suspend-On-Silence feature in its products. If the plug-ins are not receiving any input signal, they will automatically disable processing, and enter an approximately zero CPU usage state potentially resulting in huge savings in CPU resources. Just say no, to processing zeros. Free resources for more creative tasks and save electricity in the process.

• CHAMELEON COLOR
2CAudio has introduced its new "Chameleon Color" user preference system. This system allows extreme user control over the hue, saturation, brightness, contrast, vibrance, spectral intensity, color harmony, and other more macro design choices in 2CAudio GUIs. Huge variations in GUI appearance are now possible and under user control. Approximately 150 different Color Preference Presets are supplied pre-made as well.

////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////
PERFECT STORM 3.5
////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////

The Perfect Storm bundle includes all 2CAudio reverb and spatial FX plug-ins and their associated preset expansions. Perfect Storm 3.5 is comprised of Aether, B2, Breeze 2, and Precedence as well as 12 Preset Expansions, with over 4,000 presets in total across all products. It is an entire universe of sound spatialization awaiting exploration. Purchased separately these products would total over $1,000. Purchased together as the Perfect Storm 3.5 bundle, the price is only $499.95 - a savings of more than $500!

Looking forward to trying it out!

Another trip into the genius minds of 2CAudio..... very welcome.

Looks interesting but pricey. A plugin has to be a knockout these days to justify a $100 price tag. Even the preorder $75 is a bit much. I'll keep an eye on it and hope for a better BF sale price.

Hi Andrew, I see there’s an intro price. Is that different if you own all of your products or is this it?
Cheers & great work!

Everything is live including demo versions. Missing are only audio-demos which we are still collecting, and the manual, which I will write over the weekend.

We may start sending out the email now and fill these in asap in the next 48 hours or so. The email is here already:

https://www.2caudio.com/promo/precedence_intro/

I have to rest several hours now, and then I will resume... play nicely. ;-)

Conceptually, the GUI should be very clear, and the concept does not really require much explanation. But it is NOT a simple process behind the scenes. It is similar in processing complexity to the full Breeze alg. I don't know of anything else quite like it. The sound is stellar of course, as you expect from us...

I will explain more as time allows... Check the Breeze 2.1 release notes as well to see where we are going with this:

lol, bought sound unheard (site unseen doesn't fit this context :)) I plan on using this + Breeze like crazy with my incoming Moog One
If you have to ask, you can't afford the answer

Very intriguing. I’ll have to give the demo a try.

Wow, that's a lot of text - why don't you ask Chris from Airwindows if he's interested in doing a video introduction for you?

Can someone perhaps break down in a sentence or two what this actually thing does?
"Preamps have literally one job: when you turn up the gain, it gets louder." Jamcat, talking about presmp-emulation plugins.

It uses psychoacoustics to place sounds within a virtual space.

it makes stuff more betterer... :D

yes, we would love to start doing videos. we've always wanted that, but as we are only two people, we have to choose: make products or videos. We always choose products, and hope that they speak for themselves and that you can forgive my personal proclivity for verbosity. :)

we are hoping maybe by the start of the new year we can do some videos. :tu:

admittedly I do kinda like to write, so the product listings become somewhat of a blog entry of sorts that gets into the how's and why's to some degree, not just the what.

the bullet points under "uses" are fairly succinct, but all dem extra words explain why it's pretty unique.

gotta rest some now. more later.
