Plugin Versions

Hello,

I understand that this might be a somewhat "obvious" query, but I would assume that the "pluginVersion" numbers refer to the version of the plug-in that was available at a particular time?

What effect, if any, does the loading of earlier presets have on a more current version?

Is it preferable to updates earlier presets to the new version?

For example, here is the Predelay from V1, and the same Predelay updated to V1.5:

V1: 0.0199999996
V1.5: 0.019999999552965164

All presets are backwards/forwards compatible, with the exception that newer presets that use a newer algorithm will sound wrong in the older plugin. If you are using the most up-to-date version from your user account, any preset that has been posted should sound the same now as when it was first posted.
