Hello,
I am trying to set up a quick portable Linux system for writing down my demos while on the road and I wanted to use EnergyXT as it is a quick solution with its internal sampler and synth but ...
I get the following error when I try to run the program:
Failed to execute file "energyXT".
Failed to execute child process "/home/germ/Desktop/energyXT27/energyXT" (No such file or directory).
Which is odd as I clicked exactly on the program that is on that same location.
home/germ/Desktop/energyXT27/energyXT
Any idea what I might be doing wrong here?
I have looked in the forums, wiki, etc even googled it but no results come up.
Thanks in advance

Fixed!
I used another Distro (KXStudio) and it recognizes EXT2 now.
Thanks anyway. :)

Just so you know, the Linux version of eXT is a bit broken, but the Windows version works very well under WINE.

There is also a low-latency library for WINE called wineasio and requires linux-lowlatency and wine-rt-amd64. Some configuration is needed and these WINE packages are under a lot of development right now, so it's not clear how this will change. I had a somewhat difficult time setting it up, but once I got it working the performance was good. Keep an eye on the forum linuxmusicians.com for development of these WINE packages.
