Damn. I should keep up with my updates better than I do. Can’t wait to play this with my seaboard. Is release velocity implemented? That is one of the most useful but overlooked parts of MPE in my experience.
Don't F**K with Mr. Zero.

No release velocity. And no assigning mod targets to the expressions either. It’s jist hardwired filter and amp to pressure and timbre (which can be switched).

That is less fun than it could be. Still a welcome addition to one of my favorites. Hopefully PM will get around to a deeper implementation by v3. Hell im still just super excited there is a 64 bit version so I don’t have to sweat bridging it.Echoes in the Attic wrote: ↑Mon Jul 13, 2020 1:58 pm No release velocity. Yeah it's a bit confusing that there is channel aftertouch modulation, but that doesn't apply when using MPE, even though MPE uses channel aftertouch per channel for the pressure modulation. So that's pretty weird.Ah_Dziz wrote: ↑Wed Jul 22, 2020 1:36 amThat is less fun than it could be. Still a welcome addition to one of my favorites. Any plans for VST3 with this synth?

Phonec2, probably not. But PM said on FB in January: Phonec3 will be available as VST3, AU and possibly AAX formats..

I’d definitely be interested in checking out a V3. I’ve some recent projects/experiments where Phonec has fit the bill perfectly for a few of the synth tracks.
Lots of mileage to be had with randomizes and the ‘gate maths’ things on the oscillators. I’ve found myself wishing for that on more synths.

Hope he improves the interface. The envelope sliders are too small and finicky. Would love to see unison with spread too. Also the retrigger between notes in mono is very jarring, hope he improves that (legato is different).

Really wish this would get a VST3 update. I've wanted to get it for Black Friday at 40% off, but it looks like it still hasn't been updated to support VST3. A shame since it sounds so nice!
