At the moment there is no beta version. v3.62 includes all the fixes for issues reported for the last beta version.
I would like to say a big thanks to all of you for your help!

Hi magicmusic,
will do. Until this is done, please stop playback manually in the Phrase Editor.
Thanks,
Attila

haha ok, dumb operator can crash RC.. (operator=me).. if you start RC and if the last thing you had open is the phrase browser, if you click the reload phrase in the browser WHILE RC is loading the phrases from startup, it crashes..

Awesome thanks!
In the course of creating this video, which is now at 2 hours and 33 minutes of nothing but narrated RC fun, lol, I found a bug that can impact the Idea Tool. I left the bug find in the video as well, but, to explain it, it's in the context of saving a progression. I generated an obscure random phrase for demonstration purposes on how to save an absolute progression vs a relative progression. When I went to save it as an absolute, the first chord in saved in the browser is named as a relative chord and the rest are named as absolute. If used in the Idea tool like that, certain conditions would generate an error.
The video _should_ be uploaded and posted later today as it takes about an hour and a half to render, then I'll have to watch it to make sure it rendered OK, then probably another hour or so to upload. so.. getting there..
edit: forgot a topic so it's now 2 hours 36 minutes lol

That's awesome, BluGenes! Will you post right here in this thread when you've uploaded the video? (that way if we've subscribed to this thread, we'll get email notice from KVR about your post about the upload w/ the upload links you put in the post)

so, I finally changed my preview instruments and it revealed a bug...
The playback is wrong in the chord selector -> build for progression.. It plays the incorrect chords, or incomplete chord.. see attached video..

Very interesting! I am checking this bug right now.
I can see bad chord labels too, which I did not realize before.
Thank you!

cont from the feature request topic ...anyway quite interesting how the indexing working currently with slash chords
I would prefer the double root, third, fifth case instead of doubling the third to able to use generators nicely so practically
although currently it's a bug so I reported it
( and now I'm going to watch the wonderful video of BluGenes )

And another bug related to that play back bug. What I did was set my chord preview to general midi so that nothing would play. Then I set the bass preview to one of the sound font basses (and it doesn't really matter which you set here). The bass isn't played on the first chord of the progression via the chord selector, but any chord after that does play.
Also, I finally figured out VST presets and how that works. So, some VST's will have presets available, some only have 1. This is the case for like Sample Tank, EZ Keys, etc., they only have one preset.
What I wanted was the ability to load default instruments via the chord preview settings tab so that I could use better sounding instruments, using my own libraries.
It would be great and awesomness IF the settings preview behaved like a composition in regards to loading a VST. Of course, in a composition, you can have a multi-instrument VST and the composition stores that info, so, when you load the file, it all loads up... THAT WOULD ROCK in the settings.. hehe

Ok based on the above suggestion, I get crashes pretty consistent when trying to use libraries of my own.. so... never mind I guess..
