This is my last video until I finish my next EP, this final one is neither very expressive or virtuoso. It's just me using the LinnStrument as I typically do in the studio, to craft music. Left split is controlling 2 instances of Arturia Analog Lab V, right split is controlling Arturia Piano V2. https://youtu.be/F2Og2jC6w6k?si=eBZQ9S6_eetBbtl1

Hey there,

here is a small jam using LinnStrument and SWAM Trumpet. I'm still working on my playing but having lots of fun here. The jam track was also created using LinnStrument and Guitar.
Hope you enjoy.

Nice one, Prehm.

I have three new ones (not for the LinnStrumenalists probably). One is a performance, the other two are accompanying educational material.

Thanks for taking the time to make these videos, Max! Great playing and very helpful tutorials. I've linked to them from my YouTube playlists:
1) "Among the Exiles", linked to from "Roger's Favorites" playlist,
2) "Setup and sound design", linked to from "LinnStrument Tech Tutorials" playlist,
3) "Musical ideas and practice", linked to from "Learning to play" playlist.

Thanks Roger!

"A Bridge Too Far" is a LinnStrument banjo/piano duet using Orange Tree Samples Evolution Banjo sample library. I experimented with triggering various articulations with velocity and pressure.

"In the Mind's Eye" is a virtual band piece featuring LinnStrument violin (Audio Modeling SWAM V3), guitar, NS Chapman Stick, and Kong Wavedrum.

Nice video and recording, Jeremy! It's interesting to hear non-banjo music style played on a banjo sound. I recall from years ago that John McEuen, the banjo player of the Nitty Gritty Dirt Band, was a member of a society of banjo players who played Bach. But one of the benefits of MIDI was the ability to independently choose the player interface and sound, thereby allowing lots of new creative possibilities.

Thanks, Roger! I will look up John McEuen. My inspiration was Bela Fleck who also has an album of classical music on banjo and recently released a banjo version of Rhapsody in Blue. I saw him perform the piece live as the opening act for Shakti. I could not believe someone could play that piece on a four string banjo!
