Cantabile 2 with MOXF (or MOTIF)

Hi comrades
as a newbi with my MOXF I wonder how to connect it to Cantabile for recording and on stage. Can I use it as "an external VST" or can I only use it as a master Keyboard? What's the pathway? Could somebody give me a hint? I would appreciate it very much
