Whoooa. This looks like the next step up from VAZ Modular (which has got to be my favorite soft synth of all time). Bring it out as a VST and I'll destroy oscillators left and right with this thing.

Yeah...i wonder what keeps the developer away from a VST version...it would be a great thing. Are there any technical reasons?

AFAICT from the webpage, this is open source. So if the dev doesn't care about VST (which of course is the dev's prerogative), there's nothing stopping you or someone else from taking the source and making a VST out of it.

he's said that he uses neither DAWs nor plugins, so its not a priority for him. it is, after all, a project for his own use that he just happens to be sharing.
my other modular synth is a bugbrand

...that's weird ,in my pc wren doesn't show those drivers options,my only options are speakers and realtek digital output ( realtek high defenition audio).

i don't have problems with audio in any other software in my pc...

UPDATE:

problem found !

"No PortAudio DLL found"

this is probably caused by direct conflict with other asio driver
i uninstaled FL Studio asio ,and after restarting wren ,portaudio was found, and i could choose MME, DirectSound and ASIO

only asio works in my system, i couldn´t get any sound with mme, directsound etc.

this is a bummer, because fl studio driver is a must for playing back youtube etc at the same time with flstudio.
i will post this in the forum to see if a solution is found.

Wren isn't working for me. It brings up the title screen (which says Starting), and then when it disappears, nothing happens.

EDIT: I found that the speech dll wasn't downloaded, so I deleted it. Then Wren worked. I downloaded the speech extension, installed it and everything works now.

Great! Let us know how you like it. It's got a lot of powerful modules.
